FLY ROD WRAPPING

 

The R.L. Winston Rod Company is growing, and we are expanding our rod wrapping team! Winston fly rods are handcrafted in Twin Bridges, MT and sold and fished around the globe. Our rods are legendary for their performance and craftsmanship, and this is a great opportunity for you to be part of this legacy.

We are looking to fill an open role on our wrapping team. This position requires high attention to detail and dedication to upholding a high standard of quality. If you enjoy working with your hands, crafting premium products, and working flexible hours, this could be a great fit for you!

Our wrapping team is responsible for wrapping thread around the guides to hold them in place. Those thread wraps are then coated with epoxy to secure them in place for years to come.

Key Duties

– Excellent hand dexterity
– Communication skills
– Demonstrates a devotion to craftsmanship and pride of product
– Attention to Detail – identifies imperfections in finish and workmanship

This position is considered piecework, which allows for flexible hours depending on the number of rods chosen to wrap per week. Rods, guides, and supplies are picked up and dropped off at our facility in Twin Bridges on a weekly basis. Wrapping is performed at home on your schedule.

ROD PRODUCTION

 

We are always excited to find qualified employees to join the rod production team at our facility in Twin Bridges. These are full time positions, Monday through Friday, and entail working in the departments / processes involved in fly rod production.
