Galen owns and operates Asheville Fly Fishing Company, a unique Southern Appalachian guide service offering a wide array of experiences, including immersive multi-day safari-style trips for Smallmouth Bass, Musky and Trout. For the last 15 years, he’s shared his passion and specialized knowledge of warmwater smallmouth bass and trout species on the South Holston and Watauga Rivers with clients. He’s also partnered with regional conservation organizations to raise awareness of habitat protection and water quality. Fly fishing has led him all over the US, Bahamas, and Belize in piscatorial pursuits. Galen is a Boulder Boatworks Field Advisor and a Bauer Reels Ambassador. On and off the water, he works with True Wealth Mentorship bringing together the life lessons of leadership and fly fishing for his guide staff and guests. Before becoming fully emersed in the fishing industry Galen was a professional musician where he composed a symphony and other classically based works, toured full time nationally and produced several albums in 10 years. “There is an interesting parallelism between the patterns of fly fishing and music, the simplest being they both make people happy and healthy.”

Todd Moen is the owner and producer of Catch Magazine. Todd began combining fly fishing and film at an early age, then sharpened his skills by traveling the world to film for ESPN, CBS, and OLN. In 2008, he launched Catch Magazine. His online, environmentally responsible magazine reaches more than 84,000 subscribers in 184 countries worldwide. It showcases outstanding photography and film, including Todd’s award-winning T-Motion video shorts which are produced bimonthly throughout the year. His Catch Magazine YouTube channel has attracted over 4 million unique views with over 20,000 subscribers. A fly rod has led Alice from spring creeks in Ohio where she learned to pursue trout at the tender age of 8, to the Rocky Mountain West hunting for any fish that will take a fly. Bitten by the saltwater bug at a young age, Alice has fished extensively for Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and many other saltwater species throughout the Bahamas, Florida Keys, Belize and Mexico. Alice has been a member of the International Women Fly Fishers since the organization held its inaugural festival in San Francisco in 1996. A member of the Conservation Committee for years, Alice is currently the chairwoman. Alice currently owns and operates Riverside Anglers out of West Yellowstone, Montana. riversideanglers.com

Michael White is a long tenured and respected industry sales representative; having worked for many companies within the fly fishing industry during his near twenty-year career. Currently he represents Simms Fishing Products and hunting brand, Sitka Gear, in the Northern Rockies. His lengthy resume includes casting instruction, rod design work, guiding and worldwide angling adventures.

Michael brings a unique perspective and insight to Winston. He works diligently with fishing retailers to understand current market trends, fisheries techniques, consumer buying habits and product needs. He has worked closely in the past with the Winston design team and has a strong sense for how Winston rods will continue to possess, in his words, “that magic Winston feel” while addressing today’s angling techniques, action demands and performance requirements.
