The R.L. Winston Rod Company and Bauer Fly Reels, located in Twin Bridges, Montana, are pleased to announce the hiring of long-time industry professional, Raz Reid to the role of Southeast Sales Representative, covering Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

“We are very happy to announce Raz joining the Winston and Bauer sales teams,” said Jay Beebe, Winston and Bauer Sales Manager. “With over 30 years of pioneering the fly-fishing industry, we’re excited to have Raz be part of the Winston team as our newest rep in the Southeast. Raz brings not only in depth knowledge of the unique needs of retailers within the Southeast, but is as passionate about teaching and introducing individuals to be part of the fly fishing community.”
As a long-tenured sales representative throughout the Southeast, Raz has represented leading brands such as Sage, Simms, and Tibor, contributing not only to sales growth but also to product development—particularly in saltwater fly fishing. His knowledge of rod design, performance, and angling techniques has made him a trusted resource for both manufacturers and anglers alike.
“Having worked with Raz for many years at another brand, I am really excited to have him, his vast skillset, and customer service mindset on the Winston/Bauer Team,” said Andy Wunsch, Winston and Bauer General Manager.” He’s really going to help expand our presence in the southeast in both fresh and saltwater fly angling.”
A world-class fisherman in his own right, Raz currently holds multiple fly fishing World Records, including Bluefin Tuna, Golden Dorado, and Dolly Varden. Raz brings a lifetime of passion and experience to his role at Winston. After retiring from a successful career as a professional tennis player, Raz turned his competitive drive and love of the outdoors toward fly fishing, where he has built an accomplished career spanning several decades.
